A celebration of life and memorial service for Eileen Marie Phillips of Serenity Gardens, formerly of ‘Seaview’ 3 High Point Lane, Southampton in her 99th year will be held at the First Church of God, North Shore on Saturday, April 15th at 3 pm.The will be no viewing. Interment of ashes will be held during a private graveside service at St. John’s Anglican Church.Marie is the sister of Phyllis Wade and Shirley Wainwright, sister-in-law to Miriam Wade, grandmother to Andrea James-Smith (Derek) and Monique James-Cheek (W. Brently III) all of Bowie, Maryland, great-grandmother to Kennedy Cheek and Madison and Mackenzie Smith and special aunt of Alan Richardson, Alana Rogers (Johnathan) and Alena Crockwell (Duane).Marie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families, cousin Carolyn Saltus, Special friends, Mrs. Viola Rogers, Sandra, Todd, Sommer and Ethan Smith, caregiver Nneka Powell and the staff and residents of Serenity Gardens Rest Home. Marie was predeceased by her parents, Carl P. and Gladys Marion Wade, daughter Marilyn, brothers Llewellyn, Bernard “Jack”, Lloyd and Calvin and sisters Gloria and Joan.
