A Home-Going service for Mrs. Phyllis Marie Tear wife of the late Ronald Tear, daughter of the late Olive Williams Seymour and Stanley Seymour, loving mother of Irving Seymour, Clark (Bobby-Jean), Michael (Nichole) and Valerie Tear (Patrick), Belinda Hill (Rembert) and Karen and Valentino Tear, sister to Russel Seymour, Connie Seymour, Grace Adams (Arnold), Marilyn Seymour and the late Rudolf Seymour in her 78th year of 9 Happy Dale, Parsons Road, Devonshire will be held at Christ Church, Devonshire on Monday, June 29, 2015 at 3pm.Interment will follow at Christ Church, Cemetery.Flowers may be sent.Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this Sunday evening, June 28, 2015 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm also at Christ Church on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 2 – 2:55 pm.Also surviving are grandchildren: Jahmela, Bisa, Kyla, Kennisha, Tylise (Corey), Terri, Karricka, Jahricka, Ella; great-grandchildren: Jahzai, Zaijae, Nyumi, Geron, J’Quon, Kenzai, Machari, Kerry, Diaz, Daez, Kalee, Tahai; aunt: Syvia Swan; brother-in-law: Austin Thomas; sisters-in-law: Eula Thomas, Elsa McKay; nieces: Kim, Chrissy and Sherrie; nephews: Tracey, Donavan, Steve, Dwayne, Shay, Stacey, Raymond, Antoine, Terrance, Eugene; special friends: Brown and Family, Ilene Hill and Family, Leonard Brown and Family, Ethelynn Outerbridge, Donna Mae Harvey.Mrs. Phyllis Tear was predeceased by Diana Williams, Hilda Roberts, Cecily Smith; uncles: Copeland Smith, Sidney and Joseph Williams; mother-in-law: Vera Tear; brother-in-law: Maxwell Tear.

  1. To my cousins & family, I was saddened upon hearing of the loss of you beautiful mother! I will never forget her beautiful smile, whenever I’d travel home to Bermuda & I see her she’d greet me with that smile & a big hug.
    Sorry I can’t be with you all to celebrate her going but I’m praying for you during this time. Cry & be sad when you have to ,but remember all of the good memories & that your mom is not suffering anymore.. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. To God be the glory. Love you all
