A Home-Going service for Mr. Kenneth “Smokey” Lawrence Thompson ,beloved husband of Cynthy Thompson, son of the late Kenneth and Maud Thompson, farther of Kenneth Donnavon Furbert (Elsa), special sons: Michael, Leroy,  Eugene  Furbert, Kenneth Smith and  Roger Griffith (Barbados), special daughter Doreen Darrell, Pamela Outerbridge, Donna-Lee Chandler-Smith.  Jennifer Alleyne, Janelle Griffith (Barbados), and brother to Leon and Derick Thompson, Thelma Wilson, Shirley Dill, Marlene Mills (Kennie), Paulette (Victor) Lim, Judy Kerr and the late Glorene Thompson in his 81st year of # 37 Mills Reach Road, Pitts Bay Pembroke West will be held Cathedral of the Most Holy Church, Church Street Hamilton Today, May 29th, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Donations can be sent to The Reading Clinic, 54 Serpentine Road, Pembroke HM 18 or Heard Chapel AME Church (Building Fund), 42 glebe road. Pembroke HM 16. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Cathedral of the Most Holy Church Today, May 29th, 2014 from 1:00 – 1:50. Also surviving are grandchildren: Ethan Furbert, Candyse, Ronaldo, Rachel and Regina Griffith (Barbados); great grand-daughter: Airiah Griffith (Barbados); nieces: Sheron Smith, Kenlene (Cyril) Steede, Laquita Wilson, Angela Wilson, Wonda (Graham) Benjamin, Joanne Thompson, Shirlene (Sidney) Fray, Wendy (David) Trott, Denise Thompson, Sharice (Kenneth) Darrell, Lakayla Thompson; nephews: Leslie, Leroy And Anthony (Lakaheha) Wilson, Randolph Mills, Gladstone (Zina) Thompson, Paul (Renee) Cann, Che’ (Leila) Mijuel, Kyle Burgess And Kimfe Thompson; cousin: Leon ‘Bill”, Vincent,  William  And  “Mickey” Simmons; God daughters: Lisa (Tony) Sweat, L’tanya Roberts,  Brittany Wilson; special friends:    Samuel (Brenda) Marshall, Costas (Karen) Miranthis, Albert (Ellisa) Benchimol, the PartnerRe family, Sir John Swan, Johnnie Barnes, The Rubis Gas Station family, Gary (Teresa) Smith, The South Square family, (London) and numerous other friends and relatives.
